When a prospective customer asks an AI assistant for options in your category, are you one of the names it gives? We find out on all four assistants, rank you against the competitors you choose, and show you where the gaps are. A client partner builds it and walks you through it on a call.

Why does it matter?

AI is the new shortlist. Ask an assistant for options and you get a few names. If yours isn't one of them, you're out before the search starts.

It is a fast read on awareness. Assistants learn from everything written about you, so how often they name you tracks how well known you are. You get a starting point in days, without fielding a survey.

It tells you what to buy. Every question you're missing from is a media decision, with a channel that reaches those customers.

It is measured, not felt. Answers change from one ask to the next. We ask every question eight ways and count across all of them, so a single answer never decides the result.

What will I see?

Where you rank, and what search changes. Every tracked competitor, ranked by how often the assistants name them, with the change since the last run. Then the search lift on each assistant: how much reading today's web moves you.

Search off shows what the assistant learned in training. Search on shows what today's web says. The gap tells you whether PR and content, or brand building, will move you faster.

AI visibility snapshot: Brand A showed up in 10% of AI answers and ranks 8 of 12 tracked brands. A chart shows each brand's share of answers over eight runs, with Brand X leading near 50% and Brand A near 10%.

Share of voice, not a vanity score. We show where you rank among the brands you compete with, not just whether you got a mention. One counting rule for you and every competitor, and every name an assistant might use for each brand, agreed with you first, so the counts are right.

Snapshot table ranking 12 brands by share of AI answers and share of mentions, with Brand A eighth at 9.7%, followed by a search lift table: Brand A named in 17% of answers with web search and 3% without.

Who builds it?

A person, not a script. Two things decide whether an AI visibility number means anything, and both take judgment.

The competitor set, and every name for each brand. An assistant might say BlackRock, iShares or BlackRock Inc. and mean the same company. Before we count anything, a client partner agrees the competitors with you and the aliases for each one, so a mention is never missed and never double-counted. One counting rule for you and every competitor.

The questions. A question with your name in it only proves the assistant can repeat it. The questions that measure awareness are the ones customers ask before they know who to pick, in their words, and knowing which eight to twelve of those matter in your category is the part that takes someone who has bought media in it.

What do I do with it?

Every question you’re missing from becomes a media decision. For each one, we read what the customer wants and name the lever that reaches them.

ShortlistBest options for first-time investors?

Paid search on category terms, plus connected TV and programmatic when most assistants leave you out.

ConquestAlternatives to a competitor?

Paid search on competitor terms, plus the Reddit communities where that competitor is discussed.

InformationalHow do I start investing?

Promoted thought-leader posts on LinkedIn, or Reddit and native placements when the topic is on-brand.

The people reading your snapshot plan and buy connected TV, search, social and LinkedIn every day, so the call ends with the media we’d run to close your gaps, and the analysis behind it. For clients, AI visibility sits in their reporting next to brand lift and search, as one more read on awareness, not a score on its own.

Questions

Which AI assistants do you check?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok. Each one answers every question twice, with web search on and with it off.
Do you put my brand name in the questions?
No. We ask the questions customers ask before they know who to pick: shortlist, comparison and alternative questions, in their words. A question with your name in it would only tell us the assistant can repeat it.
Why don't your results match what I see when I ask ChatGPT myself?
Answers change from one ask to the next, and assistants tailor answers to the person asking. We ask every question eight ways and count across all of them, so no single answer decides the result.
What does it cost?
Nothing. The snapshot is free, and you keep the report. For clients, weekly AI visibility tracking is included in the service at no additional cost, one of several visibility reports in their reporting alongside competitors' ads, search and customer reviews.
Who sees my request?
The client partners. We use it only to build your snapshot and set up the call.
